Ryerson University Career Centre is arranging a ‘Professional Mentoring Lunch’ event on Tuesday March 20th, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It is actually more of a networking lunch for a group of international students about to enter various undergraduate programs after completing language upgrading.

They have asked for our help to engage 10-15 skilled immigrant professionals who have successfully transitioned into their occupations in Canada and the idea is for these professionals to help inspire these students to continue their education and pursue their career goals despite the many challenges. Please see this document for more information.

If you are employed in one of the occupations listed and would be interested in participating, please email Debroy Chan at dchan@triec.ca by Wednesday, March 14. Kindly provide your contact information and current occupation so that this can be passed on to Ryerson.

Please note that you do not have to be from one of the countries of origin listed but must be in one of the occupations.
