CanBIM are the only ‘governing’ body for BIM in Canada and hold this event yearly to discuss BIM strategy, technology and lifecycle use. With the possibility of BIM for FM on the project, I think this is going to be the best opportunity to get some ideas for BIM for FM – and the only opportunity to see where and how BIM has progressed in the last year in Canada.

Day 1 of the conference is a site tour. Since the majority of the BIM Coordinators (myself included) have worked on one or two projects I thought it would be particularly relevant to all of us to see what another site was doing.
Day 2 is presentations about a variety of BIM Topics.
